The 7th annual general meeting of ‘Gaayan Samaj Taplejung’ has been completed

The 7th annual  general meeting of ‘Gaayan Samaj Taplejung’ has been completed by handing over the post of president to famous singer Deepak Limbu on 17 January 2023 .

Taplejung singing society organized a program in Anamnagar, Kathmandu on Tuesday and prepared a new 17-member working committee under the chairmanship of Limbuka.

Asish Bhattarai, Mohan Maden, Tara Thebe, Susan Samshohang have been elected as vice presidents along with Limbu as the president. Also, Meghraj Magrati is the general secretary, Kanchan Thalang is the secretary, Jashoda Subba is the treasurer, Rukman Limbu is the joint treasurer, Bhim Limbu, Susma Limbu, Nirmal Subba, Padam Rai, Ranjita Savaden, Rajan Palungwa, Bina Bhattarai, Anil Khadka are the members.

The chief guest in the event was Ashokpyasi Rai, General Manager of the Cultural Institute and Senior Film Director Nabin Subba, Agraj Shrastha Jasdhoj Gurung, Lyricist Mahendra Rizal, Pragya Agraj Madhab Pradhan, Social Worker Model Consultant Hemraj Anchongbo, Producer Shailendra Nalbo, Film Director Lay Sangraula, Director Yadab Bhattarai, etc. There was a presence.

In the general assembly, special emphasis was given to the future working committee to protect and promote Nepali song music and Eastern languages and take the entire Nepali musical world up.
